HOW DO WE GRADE SALT?
HimalaSalt’s Patent Pending Proprietary Method uses the strictest of criteria in grading our salt. Many people believe that the darker the grains of salt, the better. That’s simply not so.
The higher the clarity, the more rare the grain - unlike the opaque or darker grades of other Himalayan salts that are cheap and plentiful today. Clear diamond like Halite crystals were created through the highest levels of geological compression and are the most sought for flavor and composition.
